Wil Dewey
Utilizing mixed media including rapidograph, acrylic, and watercolor, I create layers of texture and tone. I am primarily influenced by classic and contemporary illustration as well as American folk art. My work often reveals atmospheric moods that transforms the everyday and commonplace.
I have been commissioned to render private homes for over twenty years. Some of the styles that clients suggest range from cheerful and nostalgic, to the dramatic and detailed.
Education includes the Ridgewood School of Art and design, NJ; Parsons School of Design, and the School of Visual Arts in N. Y. C
